Stanfordinfo and it's members have jumped on board Cape Town Routes Unlimited 2010 World cup marketing campaign.
"Ambassadors & Story Tellers" are required to promote the region and for Stanford, we proudly announce Aron Gcotyelwa as an Ambassador, a perfect fit as he is passionate about the village, about football and dancing! One of the keystones of the campaign is the 'diski' dance which is a dance based on football moves and Aron has embraced the opportunity to "tweak his dance team's soccer style dance called the 'choke' dance". We're looking forward to seeing his dance team perform the idiski dance around the streets of Stanford!
Part of the campaign includes the great food in our country, and we have Peter & Mariana Esterhuizen as Story Tellers for this theme. With their love for Stanford, great stories of their experience in the village and the taste sensations they produce, it is a pleasure having them on board.
As the campaign is being rolled out internationally, we have asked the owner of Mosaic Farm, Breese Johnston to be an Ambassador in the United States and he's happily obliged.

Stanford
New to blogging, I'm here with the mission of advertising this gorgeous village in the Overstrand - the Cape Whale Coast.
Stanford is one of the only inland towns in the region, however it is situated on the banks of the Klein River with beautiful mountain back drops and offers something for everyone.
River boat trips, tours of the Brewery & cheese factory, great food at our various restaurants, a large variety of accommodation, quad biking, horse riding, historical walks an more. Just a short drive and you're watching whales, diving with sharks or taking a 4x4 route up a mountain.
